Public Service: “Calling a Doctor to Your Home”
The public service “Calling a Doctor to Your Home” is available to patients whose health condition prevents them from visiting a medical organization independently.
Who is eligible for the service?
The service is available to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are registered with a medical organization providing primary health care.
How can you call a doctor to your home?
A request can be submitted:
- in person at the medical organization;
- by calling the registration desk;
- through the Electronic Government portal of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
To submit a request through the portal, users must sign in, click the “Order Service Online” button, and complete the electronic request form.
Required information
When submitting a request, the following information must be provided:
- the patient’s full name;
- Individual Identification Number (IIN) and date of birth;
- the patient’s current address;
- contact telephone number;
- symptoms and information about the patient’s health condition.
When applying in person, the patient must present an identity document or an electronic document from the Digital Documents service.
Service cost and processing time
The service is provided free of charge and is delivered on the day of the request.
Request registration time:
- when contacting the medical organization — no more than 10 minutes;
- when submitting a request through the portal — no more than 30 minutes.
Service result
When a request is made in person or by telephone, it is registered in the medical organization’s log, and the patient is informed of the date and approximate time of the doctor’s visit.
When a request is submitted through the portal, the result is displayed in the user’s personal account as the status of the electronic application. Once the request has been accepted, the patient receives medical care at home.
Grounds for refusal
The service may be refused in the following cases:
- false information or documents have been provided;
- the patient is not registered with the selected medical organization providing primary health care.
